Prison "gay tests"
My friend shared this article with me today.
I read it, but I thought that it was slightly exaggerated? Let's just say that I'm aware of the practices in one way or another. We'll stick to that for the time being, maybe I'd feel like sharing some other time. hehe
But still, this practice is quite prehistoric. And what's even worse is that they abuse the arrested by applying methods and tests that goes beyond the person's comfort zone, and by knowing that most people are not aware of the fact that they can disagree with these testing methods.
So yeah.
Lovely corrupted country we live in.

Xavier Dolan
Go now and get both of his movies!
"J'ai tue ma mere"
"Les amours imaginaires"
What's awesome is that this Canadian guy was barely 20 years old when his "J'ai tue ma mere" rocked the festivals in 2009.
Plus his style is quite pop-ish , plus he's gay, plus the music is amazing in the movies, plus he's cute, plus the plots are very moving.
They're not my best movies ever lol, so don't say I'm over reacting, but just check his work.
IT IS AN ORDER!

The Lebanese Gay Community (youtube video reaction)
I just watched this video :
and I was obviously shaken by the priest's reaction (I get some sort of a rash when I hear close minded people speaking in poetry ... so yeah).
Which brings me to a conclusion [funny that my conclusion is rather a question].
What does conception have to do with sexuality/love??
With all due respect to all religions and ideologies around the globe and beyond, I pose it again ... what does conception have to do with sexuality/love?
They say god created man and from him created woman and asked them to procreate.
Fine, it's biologically impossible to reproduce if the equation didn't have lad and gal. It's nature.
But, what's so unnatural in a sexual drive or platonic relationships? Did the bible or any other manuscript curse any relationship that is different than man/woman?
If I am able to love or get aroused by the same sex, it doesn't mean that I'm not natural.
[we're not gonna get into the nature of homosexuality]
What's natural anyway? what a highly relative term that religion and society abuse and bastardize.
Our society that is infected with too many taboos is rather selective and in a so narrow minded way.
2 men/ 2 women can't naturally reproduce but they can naturally love and enjoy sex, and I dare anyone on this globe and beyond to prove me wrong.
rant over :)

Conservative, conservative and more conservative
I was just checking stuff on youtube and fell into that web of random videos.
yeah you know what i'm talking about lol, you check a suggested video on the right and you start jumping from one clip to the other and you're stuck in the loop.
anyway,
I mistakenly got to some "Maya Diab falling" video and one regarding Greeks got talent (2 guys playing piano with their penises [very cool video btw])
The crisis was when I got the idea of reading the comments.
(links and comment participants were Arabs)
And yeah, ...
I'm aware of how conservative some people are and how religion can extremely filter tolerance.
But I had my share of refreshment.
Some people are really living under a rock.
I mean , dahell? Where's your sense of humor? Where's your sense of diversity?
Some brethren countries are way down the stairs of social evolution (I'm talking about the acceptance of others and the acknowledgment of diversity)
How do you expect them to respect the LGBT community when they want Maya Diab in hell and these two talented greeks under a rock?
Here's a rare occasion when I declare my joy for being born in Lebanon.
( on a side note, couldn't help myself but lmao when i read someone saying "it's definitely photoshop!" on the greek got talent video. 0.o )

New Year's PC party
I decided to go to PC party this new year with the boy and a bunch of friends.
I changed all my plans since it was going to happen in a circus and I just love the circus atmosphere.
We got the early wave ticket ($69) ; tickets on the door were for $80.
Quoting the event's page :
** 2 different light systems , and entire set up for both stages (each hotter than the other)
** Live Circus Show while the party is on (Acrobats, Clowns, Magiciens)
** Special Circus make up artist to Color your New Year Face
** No presence of animals inside the party or outside of it due to animals rights
** 2 OPEN-BAR (with an army of barmens) - OPEN CREPES-OPEN LEGS.
** Many Lounges tables and chairs
** 10 toilets to make it fast
** Glitters all over you to make you remember what you did last year
** Plenty of Alcohol to feed you and your hangover
** Thousands of balloons
** Everything you need to celebrate a lovely Start up
** Bring with you whatever u want: champagne, caviar, your dad, your mom ... :)
** Much more to come
Ok, I was extremely disappointed and didn't feel that the $69 were fair.
We were promised acrobats, magicians, makeup artists... guess what they were quite nonexistant.
We were promised open crepes? what a joke, expensive food.
The balloons didn't reach thousand 0.0
Well the drinks were good, I drank a lot (suffering from a hangover now lol) but it is fine.
The music was neat and nifty.
As for the security, I heard a lot of people having problems with them, but personally they were fine to me, maybe because I didn't really notice them offending anyone.
But the New Year's countdown was sorta weird. I mean , it didn't feel like new year at all, it was sooo fast.
Anyway, I am not sure why they claimed all these things.
Did they face a problem and couldn't fulfill their promise?
Or was it some scam to make people come?
Either ways, I actually had fun but didn't feel like I was offered my money's worth.
Happy new year y'all.

The Lebanon I Dream Of ... (documentary)
I was directed to this documentary.
I'm watching it right now and it's surely fueling my anti-corruption excitement.
This means, weird plans boil inside my head.
MUST SEE!

About Me
- leBi
- I'll refer to myself as leBi(french for "The Bisexual"). I don't really like to coin terms for sexuality but for the sake of narrowing things down, let's say that I'm a bisexual guy and I'm Lebanese (proud or not proud isn't really the issue here) You'll discover me throughout this blog since I'll be talking about some of my experiences as a bisexual person -especially the gay side(well it's mostly gonna be a social critique and rantings) :)
